A couple was arrested after mauling the Barangay Tanod who pacified a commotion at Purok 3, Barangay San Antonio, Himamaylan City around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Police identified the victim as Rodante Mistas Borongan, 46, single, of Barangay San Antonio, Himamaylan.
The Barangay Tanod sustained injuries in his left temple and was also stabbed by the wife in the upper back portion of his body.
