A farmer was arrested by Himamaylan City PNP in a drug buy bust around 6:00 p.m. Sunday at Sitio Sawangan, Barangay Libacao, Himamaylan.
Police Chief Inspector Antonio Benitez, Jr., OIC, identified the suspect as Christopher Talaman Garde, 38, married, “Alias Tope,” resident of the place.
Himamaylan police and elements of 2nd Negros Occidental Police Mobile Force Company conducted the operation which resulted to the suspect’s arrest.
Confiscated from him were four small sachets of “shabu” worth P2, 000.00 and other drug paraphernalia.
