The Commission on Human Rights (CHR) will conduct its own investigation of the demolition of the MGB Relocation Site in Brgy. Su-ay, Himamaylan.
This developed after Luna Aguillon, a beneficiary of the relocation site since 2007, filed a complaint before the CHR in Bacolod City yesterday accompanied by Brgy. Capt. Cherrie Hope Belarga.
“The CHR said they will go to the site to conduct their investigation,” Aguillon said.
She added that she charged Himamaylan Mayor Agustin Bascon, Vice Mayor Carmenia Bascon and all those involved in the demolition of her house.
