A 38-year-old woman was killed when bumped by a speeding tricycle in Sitio Bajay in Barangay Poblacion 2, Himamaylan City, while the Manjuyod in Negros Oriental most wanted person for rape was nabbed in Kabankalan City Sunday.
Himamaylan City police identified the victim as Jean Pacheco, 38, single of Barangay Carabalan in Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental. She sustained head and body injuries and was rushed to nearby Gov. Valeriano Gatuslao Memorial District Hospital but was declared dead-on-arrival by attending physician.
