Two brothers from Purok Binawi-an, Barangay Binicuil, Kabankalan City were caught selling two stolen fighting cocks at the new Public Market of Himamaylan City located at Sitio Ubay, Barangay Caradio-an, Tuesday morning.
The two were about to be mauled by people in the market, but timely arrival of Superintendent Antonieto Cañete, Himamaylan City PNP chief prevented them from doing so.
Angelito Feria Madalag, 22; and his younger brother Amalio, 18, both of Purok Baganihan-A were arrested for the crime.
