A resident of nearby barangay in Himamaylan City near the boundary of Binalbagan town was stabbed dead around 12:30 a.m. Monday in Crossing Sumakwel, Barangay San Jose, Binalbagan town.
Police Chief Inspector Albert Sy, Binalbagan PNP chief identified the victim as Romeo Marcos Mijares, Jr., 22, single, of Sitio Bakyas, Barangay Cabanbanan, Himamaylan.
Police identified the suspect as one “Alias Doming,” more or less 38 to 40 years old, of Barangay San Jose, Binalbagan.
