Four tractors, one 10-wheeler truck, one unit cane harvester and two wooden bunkhouses were torched around 7:30 p.m. Monday by armed men who entered into the compound of Hacienda Nieva in Barangay Tooy, Himamaylan City.
Lieutenant Colonel Egberto Dacoscos, commander of 62nd Infantry Battalion of the Philippine Army said that three armed men entered the compound and told them to stay calm and gather in one place.
The three others served as lookout.
One security guard was able to escape towards the highway and called for police assistance.
