Police authorities identified the alleged triggerman who shot Negros Occidental Provincial Board member (5th district) Renato Malabor and his bodyguard Leody “Butch” Jomilla, in Isabela last month.
Two counts of murder were filed yesterday at the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office against PO1 Robert Chloe Rito of the Isabela PNP whow as alleged as the triggerman, and six others.
The charges were based on the testimonies of several witnesses, including a minor.
PO1 Rito was a scholar of Malabor before he became a policeman, and served as a gaffer of the late board member’s fighting cocks.
Rito’s six other co-accused who allegedly served as lookouts during the killing, were named as Jacklyn Villaquer. who was arrested in a drug raid in Barangay Libacao last July 17 along with the Limsiaco family members; Felipe Juntarchiego, Jr. alias “Onyok” of Barangay Aguisan, Himamaylan City who was arrested with shabu and firearms last July 25.
Others also charged for double murder were persons known only by their aliases: Jason, Paning, Bongbong and Nonoy.
